Sydna was founded in July 2016, when owner, Andy Clarke, decided that with his knowledge and contacts within the industry of disposables and packaging market, he could deliver a unique service that would allow him to develop a specialised and personalised business.
Andy noticed that the trends within these sectors were changing at a rapid rate towards a greener environment and that the industry was demanding products that were renewable and environmentally friendly. Added to this is the increased awareness of the negative impact of plastic on our oceans, which have consumers becoming more environmentally aware and accountable.
Andy has superior knowledge of the industry with over 25 years of experience in the polythene, packaging and disposables market. He has built strong personal relationships across the industry and knew he could support companies and entities that also wanted to make this important change.
Sydna has relationships with the UK’s biggest manufacturers and importers of packaging and disposable products and more recently, has been able to agree partnerships with suppliers of both compostable and biodegradable products, making it perfectly poised to deliver a superior service to it’s customer base.
Sydna prides itself on our knowledge of these complex industries and has developed a niche speciality to be able to source any packaging or disposable products that existing and new customers may require. We believe that in partnership with our valued customers we will see the business going from strength to strength in the coming years.

As a self employed businessman, I often face new challenges within the market and business world and have learnt to be flexible and adaptable, to keep abreast of trends, in order to remain relevant in a changing industry which demands products that are better for our environment.
